The STEP™ programme is an engaging and immersive online learning experience designed to go beyond traditional e-learning. Using LearnDash, it creates a focused and interactive environment that supports practical learning and growth. This isn’t about overwhelming delegates with information; it’s about providing a dynamic space where they can explore, reflect, and develop skills that truly matter. Each module is designed to be straightforward, accessible, and impactful, helping participants feel confident and prepared to apply what they’ve learned
The STEP programme isn’t just a course; it’s a catalyst for action, growth, and sustained development, empowering delegates to reach new heights with clarity and enthusiasm.
This experience is about igniting a passion…
for immediate application. Designed with elegant simplicity, it allows delegates to focus entirely on their growth journey, free from distractions. It’s not just about absorbing ideas; it’s about sparking practical action. Each module acts as a stepping stone, providing clear insights and building the confidence to take action. The real transformation happens between modules, as delegates bring their learnings back to their teams, applying them in real-world settings to make purposeful and sustainable strides toward growth. Delegates leave fired up, with a clear sense of direction and the confidence to accelerate their development in a way that is both impactful and meaningful.
Who it is for
Whole teams and their leaders who want to build trust, work through conflict constructively, commit to shared priorities, hold each other to account and deliver results together. It suits new teams that are forming, established teams that want to raise their performance, and teams going through change. Team leaders can also use it to guide their own team’s development.
Before you start
This programme is general learning and development content and is not professional advice. Always follow your own organisation’s policies, and take specialist advice on legal, financial or HR matters.
How your learning time adds up
Your 15 estimated learning hours are made up as follows:
- The introduction, your starting reflection and the baseline Team Effectiveness Self-Assessment: about 35 minutes
- The STEP surveys at the start and end of the programme: about 20 minutes
- Modules 1 to 5 and Module 9, each with an introduction video, a learning presentation, a workbook, a core worksheet from the module materials, a team task, a knowledge check and your commitment: about 8 hours (about 80 minutes each)
- Modules 6, 7, 8 and 10, each with learning content, two core worksheets from the module materials, a team task, a knowledge check and your commitment: about 5 hours (about 75 minutes each)
- The final module, including the repeat self-assessment, two core worksheets and the 20-question final quiz: about 1 hour 25 minutes
Total: 15 estimated learning hours. Each module also has further optional worksheets and templates, and the time your team spends applying the tools at work between modules is on top of this; the 15 hours count the structured learning only.
Knowledge checks: every lesson or module ends with a short multiple choice knowledge check. The pass mark is 80% and you can retake a knowledge check as many times as you need.
Who designed it
This programme was designed by ICF credentialed coaches at Starbuck & Associates, led by Paul Starbuck, our Founder and CEO and an ICF Master Certified Coach (MCC). Every lesson draws on our coaching and leadership development work with organisations in the UK, Europe and around the world, and each programme is reviewed regularly to keep it current.
