2. Programme Structure & Learning Journey
How is the STEP™ programme structured?
Team Effectiveness – STEP™ has 12 modules: an introduction, ten core modules and a final module, with a short survey at the start and at the end, making 14 steps in all. Each core module includes learning content, a workbook, worksheets, a team task and a knowledge check. Our other programmes are made up of short video lessons, each with workbook pages, a practical tool, a workplace task and a knowledge check.
How long does each module take to complete?
Each STEP™ module takes about 75 to 80 minutes, and the whole programme is 15 estimated learning hours. Lessons in our other programmes take about 30 to 60 minutes each, including the workplace task. Every programme page shows its estimated learning hours and how they are made up.
Do I need to complete the modules in order?
Yes, the modules are designed to be completed in sequence to ensure a structured learning journey.
Can I revisit previous modules?
Yes, you can return to previous modules at any time to review content and reflect on your learning.
What happens if I fall behind?
The programme is self-paced, so you can progress at your own speed. However, we recommend staying on track to get the most out of the learning experience.
3. Assessments & Progress Tracking
How do I track my progress?
Your progress is automatically tracked within the Starbuck Academy. You can view your completed modules and upcoming content on your dashboard.
What are the pre- and post-programme assessments for?
These assessments measure your development throughout the programme, helping you reflect on your progress and identify key areas for growth.
Are there quizzes or assignments?
Yes. Every lesson or module ends with a short multiple choice knowledge check. The pass mark is 80% and you can retake a knowledge check as many times as you need. Some programmes also include reflection exercises, which are not marked.
What happens if I don’t complete a module?
You can return to incomplete modules at any time. However, you must complete all modules to receive a certificate of completion.
4. Surveys & Feedback
Why am I asked for feedback?
At the end of every programme we ask you to complete a short feedback form, and Team Effectiveness – STEP™ also has a survey at the start and at the end. Your answers help us check that each programme meets its learning outcomes and keeps improving.
Where can I find the surveys?
A link to the feedback form is on every programme page, ready for when you finish. The STEP™ surveys sit inside the programme as their own steps.
Will my feedback be shared?
All feedback is confidential and used only to improve the programme. Summary insights may be shared with organisations in an anonymised format.
