Who owns our programme materials, and how we credit and license the work of others.

Our materials

All Starbuck Academy lessons, scripts, videos, workbooks, toolkits, tools, knowledge checks and course pages are the copyright of Starbuck & Associates Limited unless stated otherwise. Team Effectiveness – STEP™ is a trade mark of Starbuck & Associates Limited.

What learners may do

Download, print and use the materials for your own learning and in your own role.
Use the tools and worksheets with your own team at work.

You may not resell, republish, share your login, or pass the materials to people outside your team without our written agreement. Organisations that want to use our content more widely can ask us about licensing and white labelling.

Models and research by others

Our programmes draw on established leadership, coaching and team models. Where a lesson uses a model or research developed by someone else, we name the author or source in the lesson and describe the idea in our own words. We do not reproduce substantial extracts from published works. Trade marks belonging to others remain the property of their owners and are used only to identify the source.

Images, video and voices

Photographs and illustrations are our own, or are used under licence from stock libraries.
Lesson videos are presented by AI avatars with synthetic voices, used under our Synthesia licence. See our Use of AI statement.
Logos of accrediting and awarding bodies are shown only with their permission and in line with their rules.

Sign off

Every programme is checked for third party content before it is published, and approved by an ICF credentialed coach at Starbuck & Associates.
